Perfect Eraser can delete Remaining files in HDD.

Empty Area Deletion function deletes the empty area after file deletion, by using mixed way of NSA way and Gutmann way.

Let's think about when you make new files such as ZIP.

The compression program deletes the original files after it made new files.
The compression program deletes just the file name from Index.
So people can restore　files by using file restore program because data remains in empty areas.
"The deletion empty area function" can delete all the data remaining in HDD.

Deletion Method

You can select NSA method or Gutmann method.

NASA Method

NSA（National Security Agency）　Standard method
This executes three records, random data twice, and 0 data once.
When this method is used, the file restoration cannot be done even if the file restoration program is used.
Moreover, the decipherment by a magnetic reader is also difficult.

Gutmann Method

This is a deleting method Dr. Gutmann designed for the hard disk deletion.
35 times records are executed.
Even if a magnetic reader is used, restoration of file is impossible after the file is deleted by this method.
